Folks made a splash for autism Saturday in Conway as they enjoyed a jamboree to wrap up Autism Awareness Month.
The Autism Advocate Foundation partnered up with Jersey Mike's for the month of April to raise money for Project Lifesaver.
"Project Lifesaver is a program that was started in Chesapeak County, Virginia that places tracking bracelets on high risk people like Alzheimer's patients or Autistic kids who prone to wander and law enforcement is able to find them with the equipment we have," said Gordon Harris with the Horry County Public Safety Division.
Kids and adults came out for the food, games and took turns soaking people in the dunking booth. General Manager of the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, Scott Brown, came out to get dunked for the cause as did NewsChannel 15 First Alert Meteorologist Kristen Van Dyke.
