A mother and daughter in a Toyota Camry wrecked near Little River Tuesday night.

Witnesses told NewsChannel 15 the woman was driving south on Highway 17.

They said the car came barreling up from behind and when they moved to let the car pass it continued on, but crashed soon after.

The woman and her daughter were taken to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.
