A fire at a Florence apartment complex has left eight families homeless. 

The Red Cross says they assisted 15 people after Saturday's fire on Second loop Road. One building was nearly destroyed at the Sedgefield Apartments. 

The Red Cross of the Pee Dee says in February alone the region saw 38 fires and they are in need of support from the public.
