Former SC paramedic accused of sex act on child

(AP) -- A former paramedic in South Carolina has pleaded guilty to committing lewd acts on a child.
The Herald-Journal of Spartanburg reported that 38-year-old Shawn Daily of Greer pleaded guilty earlier this week. Daily originally was charged with first degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor after an 11-year-old girl said he molested her several times between 2006 and 2008.
At the time, Daily worked for Spartanburg County emergency medical services. Prosecutors say sentencing was delayed because Daily faces other
charges.
