State legislators consider abolishing an education committee

(AP) -- South Carolina legislators are set to debate eliminating the agency that oversees education reform and end-of-year standardized testing.
A House Education subcommittee will discuss on Tuesday abolishing the Education Oversight Committee, which employs six people.
