GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) -- **All charges against Fuller have been expunged!**

A former South Carolina police officer has been arrested and accused of encouraging a 16-year-old girl to send him nude photos of herself.

Multiple media outlets reported 28-year-old Malcolm Maurice Fuller of Greenville is charged with sexual exploitation of a minor and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Greenville Police Sgt. Jason Rampey says Fuller was fired Dec. 30 because of an internal investigation. Fuller had been with the police department since 2008.

Police Chief Teri Wilfong says none of the activity occurred while Fuller was on duty. Warrants say Fuller obtained the photos Dec. 13. The State Law Enforcement Division says the girl's family saw some photos on her phone and called police.

Fuller was being held in the Greenville County jail. It was unclear if he had an attorney.
