GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) -- A former South Carolina church deacon sentenced to federal prison for trying to rob a bank is expected in state court.
Court records show Bruce Windsor is scheduled to appear Thursday in Greenville on state charges including robbery and kidnapping.
Last month, the father of four was sentenced to 11 years in prison on federal bank robbery and weapons charges. He pleaded guilty in October.
Prosecutors say the former youth soccer coach donned a mask and wig, entered a Greenville bank last year and pointed a gun at bank workers, demanding cash.
His family first blamed the financial meltdown for his failed attempt. But relatives said at his sentencing that Windsor has been suffering from bipolar disorder.
