Due to the continued decrease in influenza activity, Southeastern Regional Medical Center is now operating under normal visitation guidelines as described below:
- An identification badge is required for all visitors on patient care units.
- General visiting hours are from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- There is a limit of two visitors per patient from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m.
- Visitors entering the facility after 11 p.m. are required to sign in at the Main Information Desk in the Bed Tower and present picture identification.
- Children under the age of six years are not permitted to visit unless requested by the patient and/or immediate family member.
- Details about visiting patients in special care units, including Obstetric, Third East, Outpatient Surgery Center, Intensive or Intermediate Care and the Southeastern Heart Center may be obtained from the special care unit.
Any individual who is sick is asked not to visit patients at Southeastern until they are free of symptoms.
Officials with Southeastern Regional Medical Center will continue to monitor influenza activity. In the event of an increase in influenza cases, visitation restrictions may be reinstated.
