H1N1 vaccines are now available to everyone in South Carolina, not just those who are considered a higher risk.
Doctors offices are stocked and ready to provide the vaccine to anyone who wants it.
Even though the number of cases of H1N1 is down right now, doctors anticipate another spike of the virus in January.
Dr Ron Reynolds with Beach Urgent Care says he's treated mostly those in high risk groups, but he urges younger, working-age people to get the vaccine as well.
"The vaccine is available for people six months and up. And we're very very interested in reaching the younger age groups who are at a higher risk, people in the hotel industry and restaurant industry and that sort of thing. At this time, we have close to about 5,000 vaccines available," Dr Reynolds said.
Reynolds says they vaccinate about 60 to 70 people a day.
