It was a magical day here at NewsChannel 15 as the Salvation Army and Toys for Tots folks came to pick up all the toys donated here over the past few weeks.

We are still taking donations through the end of the week, but they wanted to get a head start.

Attached is time lapse video of the loading process. In all, between the Grand Strand and the Pee Dee we collected around 1,350 toys. From bikes to Barbie dolls and cars to coloring books, there's plenty to bring smiles to hundreds of children in our area.

Each year we're always amazed by the generosity of our viewers - and this year was certainly no exception.

We can still take toys through December 18th at our Conway office at 1194 Atlantic Avenue and in Florence at 1510 South Floyd Circle.
