State troopers have charged a Georgetown man with felony DUI in connection to a deadly Thanksgiving night crash.

The Highway Patrol says 31-year-old George Small was drunk when he struck a woman on the side of Highway 17. Rosa Johnson, who was killed in that wreck, was helping her daughter with a flat tire in front of Debordieu Colony.

It happened at 7:15pm on Thanksgiving night.

Small is out of jail on $100,000 bail.
