Thursday, a memorial service is planned for the Grand Strand student who was killed in an accident involving a school bus on Monday.

Wednesday, friends and family members of 18-year-old Marc Chaplin gathered at the scene of the accident that happened at the Grissom Parkway and Highway 31.

Friends say there will be a memorial for Chaplin at the Academy of Arts, Science and Technology Thursday at 4:30pm.

Chaplin died when his motorcycle collided with a school bus.

Investigators have not released details about how the accident happened.
