Horry County Coroner Robert Edge says a woman from Easley, South Carolina has died after being struck by a vehicle in Horry County.

According to Horry County Coroner Robert Edge, 62-year-old Darlene Patterson was walking on Lake Arrowhead Road Thursday when she was hit by a vehicle.

She was transported to the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston where she died.
