Some Coastal Carolina University students will have to live in a hotel for awhile, due to overcrowding in the dorms.
This year's freshman class is the largest ever at CCU, and there's just not enough on-campus housing for everyone.
54 students, all of them freshmen, are being put up temporarily at the Comfort Suites in Conway, next to campus.
CCU's Dean of Students says it's not uncommon.
"It's very common for a growing institution to run out of space for student to live on campus," said Haven Hart CCU Dean of Students.
Hart says the students will be charged the same basic rate as they would for an on-campus residence hall.
She says the school hopes to have all the students living on campus by the end of the fall semester.
