5th year head coach of the Coastal Carolina University men's cross country and track and field teams, Jeff Jacobs, was arrested around 4am Saturday morning for driving under the influence.

Monday, the university's Director of News and Public Affairs, Martha Hunn, said Jacobs has been temporarily suspended for one week. He will not coach the September 4th track meet against the University of South Carolina. Hunn said Jacobs will be available to players, but will not be coaching.

The university's investigation continues.
