Horry Telephone Cooperative, in partnership with the Kiwanis Club of Conway, are teaming up in an effort to provide free school supplies to families in need.

The event is called the 10th annual Back to School FREE School Supplies Program.

It will be held Wednesday, August 19th starting at 8:00am at each HTC branch (Loris, Little River, North Myrtle Beach, Myrtle Beach, Murrells Inlet, Socastee, Carolina Forest, Conway) and at 10:00am at the HTC store located inside the food court at Coastal Grand Mall.

More than 2,000 bags of supplies for children grades K-12 will be handed out.

Each HTC office will have bags packed with pencils, rulers, erasers, pencil bags, notebooks and more, but supplies will only last on a first come first save basis.
