A Pee Dee man lost his life in a traffic accident Saturday morning. The accident happened around 11:15am in Marlboro County.

We're told a driver ran off the side of Highway 385 about two miles north of Bennettsville and hit a utility pole.

That driver, 36-year-old Timothy Butler of Marlboro County was killed. Officials say he was not wearing seatbelt.
