Several hundred people packed Revolutions Nightclub at Broadway at the Beach Wednesday afternoon to vent and to get organized. The group that sponsored it goes by the name H.E.L.P., or "Help Eliminate Lousy Politicians."

Many points of view were voiced by business owners, employees, bikers, and local residents.

Strong opinions were shared. Perhaps the loudest were the calls for the mayor of Myrtle Beach, several city council members, the city manager, and the city attorney to all resign.

People took the stage one by one and illustrated how they've been impacted by Myrtle Beach's anti bike rally ordinances.

One woman we spoke with was impacted on several fronts: as a business owner, a biker, and a life-long resident.

"The money I didn't make during bike week, I can't spend in the home town that I was born and raised in. But my heart is here. John Rhodes and city council and the city manager - they need to go somewhere else. It's obvious they don't want bikers here, so maybe they need to move somewhere where there are no bikers," said Kathy Campbell.

Most of all, event organizers say Wednesday's event was about getting people organized to vote in the fall city elections. They say that's the way they can make the biggest difference.

The group plans to hold voter registration drives until election day in November.
