A verdict has been reached in the trial of two people accused of shooting a man to death in a Myrtle Beach Best Buy parking lot.

Richard Niles has been found guilty of murder, armed robbery and a weapons charge.

He was sentenced to 30 years in prison for the armed robbery and murder charge and 5 years for the weapons charge.

He must serve all 30 years for murder.

His co-defendant, Mokeia Hammond, was found guilty of armed robbery and sentenced to 15 years with no parole.

Both are charged in the robbery and killing of 24-year-old James Salter.

Salter was shot and killed in the parking lot of the Myrtle Beach Best Buy in April 2007.

A third man, Ervin Moore, pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter and armed robbery in the case.
