U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham made a Grand Strand appearance Friday afternoon.

The Senior Republican Senator from South Carolina told the South Carolina Bar Convention that it's time to put aside partisan politics.

Graham has pledged to work with President Barack Obama to fix the economy.

He told the crowd things will get worse before they get better, and that South Carolina would benefit from another stimulus package, including infrastructure money and tax relief.

"I do not mind spending money on projects that are worthy, that would lead to construction, people being hired, road, water, sewer and bridges. God knows this part of South Carolina could benefit from economic stimulus in terms of infrastructure money," Graham said.
