An inmate at a maximum security prison in Bishopville was stabbed to death Sunday morning. According to the South Carolina Department of Corrections, 29-year-old Lenmont Jones was stabbed by another inmate at the Lee Correctional Institution.

Inmates at the prison are being kept in their cells as the investigation continues.

Jones was in his first year of a 20-year sentence for criminal sexual conduct with a minor.
