The suspect wanted in connection with Tuesday's chase was taken into custody on Creon St. in Socastee Tuesday afternoon.

Horry County police searched for the man for several hours when they say he didn't stop for police blue lights, and then jumped out of the car and started running.

Police searched in the area of Keith Street and Gwen Drive in Socastee, using a K-9 unit. The dogs tracked the man to Folly Road, where the track went cold.

They found him a couple of hours later.

The suspect's name and charges will be released tomorrow.
