Unsettled weather is expected for the 1st half of the week. A disturbance to our west, along with high pressure off of the coast, will supply plenty of moisture to the area. This will bring in the chance for scattered rain and storms, mostly cloudy skies, and plenty of humidity. You can track the rain and storms with us on First Alert Live Doppler 1500. A cold front approaching the area Tuesday into Wednesday will keep the chance for showers/storms through Wednesday, with heavy rainfall possible at times. A ridge of high pressure is expected to move in and remain in control across the East heading into the weekend leaving us with dry weather, lower humidity levels and more sunshine. The tropics look quiet but you can always keep up with the latest on the tropics on the Tropical Update page.
