As an upper level area of low pressure moves into the area later today it will surge in one more day of unseasonable warmth. Highs will once again reach the 70s. Inland areas will see more cloud cover and even a slim chance for a shower West of I-95 this morning. As the area of low pressure moves into the Carolinas later today and tonight, Rain chances and cloud cover will increase and periods of soaking rain will be possible. You can always track our rain chances on First Alert Live Doppler 15000 or if you have an iPhone or Android make sure you download or app! Late tonight, cold air will surge in as the low pushes away. There may be a brief period where the rain turns over to snow for areas in North Carolina, but we will not see any accumulations. Skies begin to clear toward daybreak. High pressure will push in Friday and stick around for the weekend bringing back the sunshine. It will be noticeably colder and windy tomorrow with highs barely reaching the upper 40s. The weekend will warm a bit with Sunday being our warmest day as temps max in the low 60s.While the afternoons will warm up, overnight temps will drop into the 20s & 30s.

Today: Morning cloud cover will vary with more sunshine near the coast and more cloud cover Inland West of I-95 and even a slight chance for a shower. Unseasonably warm area wide. Rain moves in this afternoon from West to East. Highs-Grand Strand:Low/Mid 70s, Inland: Low/Mid 70s, Borderbelt: Upper 60s/Low 70s

Tonight: Rain this evening ending late. Snow may briefly fall along the Borderbelt. Gradual clearing by daybreak and much colder. Lows: Mid/Upper 30s.

Friday:Sunny, colder and windy. Highs-Grand Strand: Upper 40s, Inland: Mid/Upper 40s.
