A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for our area until 2 a.m. Sunday.

A large system just to our west will bring scattered thunderstorms for the rest of the afternoon and evening. If storms pop up where you are, they have the potential to produce high wind and large hail. Tornado threat is low, but not zero.

We will keep the high chance for showers and storms through Sunday before this system moves offshore Sunday night.

Remember, if you are away from your TV, you can get updates through WeatherCallTextAlertFacebook, and Twitter.

The WPDE NewsChannel 15 First Alert Weather Team will be tracking the storms throughout the day.
