As high pressure moves in and yesterday's system departs, breezy conditions will remain around through the afternoon. Cold air will surge in keeping the high temps below 50° across most of the area. With high pressure sliding overhead tonight, the winds will diminish and temps will fall into the mid/upper 20s by daybreak. With the ridge of high pressure remaining around through the weekend, sunny skies and a gradual warm up will take shape. A re-inforcing shot of Arctic air will push in early next week putting our highs back into the 40s with wake up temps in the 20s.
