RV catches fire on Highway 22, shuts down traffic

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) - Police and fire crews are investigating a recreational vehicle that caught fire on Highway 22 in Horry County near the Enoch Road overpass.

Horry County Fire Rescue and South Carolina Highway Patrol responded to the fire around 9:30 Sunday morning.

Crews quickly extinguished the fire. 

Westbound lanes of Highway 22 going away from the beach were shut down for some time.
