If you think you could never end up homeless, think again. The economic downturn has led to more people packing up their things because they can't pay their bills.

Recent statistics show one in 45 children in America are homeless. Myrtle Beach Haven, a shelter in Horry County, is specifically devoted to helping families who find themselves in that situation.

In the above video, NewsChannel 15's Lisa Edge shares the story of Jamila Whack, a single mother who lost it all, but with help has put her life back together.
