MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) - South Carolina agriculture officials have scheduled a meeting for anyone interested in growing citrus fruits in the state.
The 2012 Citrus Expo is scheduled to begin Friday in Myrtle Beach.
The two-day gathering features tours of local citrus groves and a "Citraholics" banquet. There are also presentations from a number of speakers, including Tim Armstrong from the National Weather Service office in Wilmington, N.C., and Arlie Powell from Auburn University.
