Tom Rice won the newly implemented 7th congressional district race Tuesday night.
Republican Tom Rice moved to Horry County from Charleston when he was four-years-old, and now he's ready to move into the 7th Congressional District seat.
"I think we're going to win, and I think we're going to win handily," Rice said a few weeks ago.
Tom Rice is currently the Horry County Council Chair, but he says his support reaches across all eight counties in District 7.
"We're covering the district and letting people know that we care, putting our message out there and it seems to be received well," said Rice.
