Darlington County deputies are trying to figure out who is shooting animals in the Oates Community.
A man says he heard gunshots Sunday near his home on Andrews Mill Road, that's near Windhamtown Road.
When he went to feed the horses Monday, he saw one of his horses was shot.
The horse died Tuesday.
About a week ago, a dog was shot in the same area.
Deputies are investigating whether the shootings are related.
