The South Carolina Department of Commerce hosted a workshop to help small business owners with strategies in financing their businesses.
Attendees at Thursday's event at the Florence Civic Center heard from lenders and small business service providers.
They discussed how business owners can better position themselves to access capital.
Small business owners also met with fellow entrepreneurs to exchange ideas on business strategies and preparing for financial challenges.
The event featured a "matchmaking" portion, in which business owners connected with multiple lenders quickly.
