Democrat Gloria Tinubu and Republican Tom Rice squared off at Myrtle Beach High School Wednesday evening in a debate.
The candidates are running for the newly-drawn district that encompasses the Grand Strand and almost all of the Pee Dee.
Jobs and the economy were at the top of the list of issues the candidates talked about. While both said they want to see more jobs and a bustling economy, that was about all they agreed upon.
