DARLINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) - An 84-year-old Darlington man died in a two car collision Friday afternoon.

The incident happened at the intersection of Rogers Road and SC Hwy 340 around 3:30 pm.

Lance Cpl. Brent Kelly says Karissa Hall was traveling west on Rogers Road, ran a stop sign, and was hit by the driver of a 1991 Mazda.

The 73-year-old driver and the passenger in the Mazda were taken to McLeod Regional Medical Center for treatment. The passenger was pronounced dead at the hospital. Darlington County Coroner Todd Hardee says the victim is Aaron Howard of Darlington.

Highway Patrol charged Hall, 18, with Disregarding a Stop Sign. She was not injured.

The crash remains under investigation.
