A jury has found Tyrone King guilty of Murder.

He was sentenced to life in prison plus 10 years for the murder of James Galloway in November of 2011 in Marlboro County.

He was also convicted of pointing and presenting a firearm, assault and battery third degree, and possession of firearm during commission of crime.

King killed James Galloway, 48, on Oriole Lane in Marlboro County last November.

Witnesses told deputies the shooting happened following an altercation between Galloway and King, who were neighbors.

An incident report shows King also assaulted another victim with a handgun inside the home.

He was arrested after a short foot chase with deputies and has been in jail since the killing.
