Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash that happened on Highway 301 North in Dillon County around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday night.

Troopers say a Thomas Vanderhall, 50, walked out into the road and was struck and killed by a pickup.

Troopers say the driver of the pickup was not injured and will not be charged.
