A car rear-ended an Horry County school bus about 7:20 a.m. Thursday on Carolina Forest Boulevard, according to Horry County Schools spokeswoman Teal Britton.
The school bus stopped at the railroad tracks on Carolina Forest Blvd. when a car rear-ended the bus as it stopped, according to Lance Cpl. Sonny Collins with the Highway Patrol.
There were 20 students on board heading to three different places; Coastal Carolina University for Scholars Academy, Horry Georgetown Technical College for Early College High School, and the Academy for Technology and Academics on Highway 701 at Highway 22.
There were no apparent injuries for the students or the school bus driver.
