Larry Devon Green, 29, of Loris, was charged in a one-count Indictment with Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.
A federal grand jury in Florence returned that indictment.
Green is a registered sex offender in Tennessee for aggravated statutory rape. He is listed on the Tennessee registry as "absconded" and his last registration/report date was in June 2011.
The maximum penalty Larry Devon Green could receive is 10 years imprisonment.
The case was investigated by agents of the United States Marshals Service.
