The new terminal at Myrtle Beach International Airport will open in just a few months.

Wall inspections are being completed and fireproofing will be done this month. Concrete paving in front of the terminal will start soon, with sidewalks to follow. All the escalators are in and the elevators should go in at the end of this month.

The airport launched a new web site www.FlyMyrtleBeach.com as part of its rebranding efforts. Not only can you get the latest flight information, but you can track the construction progress at the new terminal.

The new terminal is expected to be done in late January. It's expect to cost nearly $119 million.
