Rain chances remain around today, but conditions will be a bit drier than yesterday. Thursday will see a little lull in the action with only a few afternoon and evening showers/storms possible. It will be a bit hotter and still humid. An unsettled weather pattern returns by Friday and sticks around into Saturday. A cold front will drop south and slowly move through over the start of the weekend. The humidity will remain high as well, but temps will max out in the mid/upper 80s each day with Inland areas barely reaching the 90s.
Ernesto made landfall late last night as a category one hurricane and has already weakened to a Tropical Storm. Another disturbances out in the Atlantic, East of the Cape Verde Islands, is a long way from the US but showing a moderate potential for further development over the next several days.
