A heat advisory will once again be in effect until 8pm with dangerously hot and humid conditions expected. High temps will hit the low 90s by the Beaches and mid 90s Inland with the heat index(or "feels like" temperature) peaking over 105° for several hours this afternoon. Take necessary precautions to stay cool and hydrated, keep an eye on your neighbors, and make sure you pets have a way to stay cool and hydrated as well! Isolated storms will pop up this afternoon, mainly Inland. A disturbance is forecast to move into the Pee Dee and Border belt areas late today and tonight bringing an increased chance for storms with a few strong/severe storms possible.
