CHESTER, S.C. (AP) - Deputies say they have made an arrest in a fatal shooting nearly three years ago in Chester County.
Sheriff Richard Smith said 21-year-old Montell Cousar was taken into custody Friday and charged with murder in the death of 41-year-old Eddie Hall in October 2009.
Investigators say Hall was lying on a couch when someone fired a shot through the wall, striking him in the head.
Smith didn't detail what evidence led his deputies to Cousar. He says more arrests are possible.
It couldn't be determined if Cousar had an attorney.
