MYRTLE BEACH -- A four-vehicle crash with injuries halted traffic on US 501 at the Carolina Bays Parkway overpass Friday afternoon.

Highway patrol says traffic slowed and the cars just ran into each other about 1 p.m. One car flipped over.

That closed the Conway-bound lanes for about 20 minutes.

Horry County Fire Rescue says two people were taken to the hospital.
