Progress Energy reports its still working on 228 outages after Sunday's storm that knocked down trees and power lines across the Grand Strand and the Pee Dee.

"We appreciate the patience and understanding of our members as crews work as quickly and safely as they possibly can," Tom Kinard with Pee Dee Electric said in a press release.

His company is restoring ten outages that affect 29 members. No word yet on when they will be restored.

Everyone in our area should have electricity sometime today.
