He was wearing a white T-shirt, blue jean cargo shorts, and black Nike sandals. The little boy is about two feet tall and weighs about 30 pounds. He has red hair and blue eyes.

SLED lists the boy's father, Brandon Lee Dubose, 32, as a suspect. Police say the child is believed to be in extreme danger. Police say the father sent a text to the mother that he would harm the child.

Dubose was last seen wearing a black T-shirt. He's 5'6," 190 pounds, with dark brown hair and green eyes. Police say Dubose had been ordered by the court to stay away from the boy and his mother. He has prior weapons charges are police say they believe he is armed and dangerous.

Clarendon County Sheriff Randy Garrett tells NewsChannel 15 Dubose abducted the child from a gas station in Clarendon County Monday. Sheriff Garrett says Dubose followed the mother to a gas station and took the child out of her car there.

The sheriff says Dubose abandoned his truck in a cornfield in Sumter County on Reynolds Road. While police found his truck, there's been no sign of Dubose or the 2-year-old.

Sheriff Garrett says they believe the father went into the swamp, but they have reason to believe the child was not with him when he went into the swamp.

He says their focus now is finding the child. He say bloodhounds and officers from state and local law enforcement agencies are searching and using bloodhounds.

If you've seen either of them, call the Clarendon County Sheriff's Office at (803) 435-4414 or your local law enforcement agency.
