Florence County deputies arrested Daryl Epps, 23.
He's being held at the Florence County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing on an attempted murder charge.
Deputies say Epps shot a man once in the leg during an argument off Rae Street in Lake City about 3 p.m. Tuesday.
The man went to the hospital in a private vehicle, and his injuries do not seem to be life-threatening.
