High pressure off of the East Coast will keep the heat and humidity around through the weekend, but mainly dry conditions will stick around through Friday. A cold front will approach the area over the weekend bringing in a slight chance for a few showers/storms, mainly in the afternoon. Highs will hit the mid/upper 80s by the beaches and into the low 90s Inland with a little more humidity each and every day through the weekend. Factor the humidity and heat together, the heat index(or feels like temperaure) will reach the upper 90s to near 100°. Tropical Storm Chris formed well off of the Northeast coast and is heading out to sea. Another disturbance near Cuba will gradually head into the Gulf of Mexico.
