All employees of Florence School District One are getting a raise next school year, after the school board approved a two percent raise for its staff.

The pay increases are part of the district's $115 million budget passed Thursday evening.

School board members say they hoped to give their staff more money but couldn't because of unexpected expenses.

This is the first time in four years Florence School District One employees have received a raise.
