Longtime Georgetown County Sheriff wins primary

Taylor came to WPDE in 2011 from Greensboro, N.C., after working at WFMY News 2 and reporting for the Elon Sports Network.

Longtime Georgetown County Sheriff Lane Cribb beat Doug Dishong Tuesday night for the republican nod in the sheriff race.

Cribb took home 4,079 votes and Doug Dishong received 1,120 votes.
