Florence County Election Director David Alford says four precincts in Florence County will not open for the primary elections next Tuesday because voters there have no races in which to vote.

The precincts are:

  • High Hill
  • Leo
  • McAllister Mill
  • Olanta

The area is in the new U.S. Congressional 6th District, and Democrat incumbent James Clyburn is the only candidate from either party to file for the seat. No other races in that area are opposed in either party's primary.
